A sponsored walk is being held at a Kibworth farm in memory of a youngster who died in 2007.
Sam Stanbridge died after an accident at his family’s Grange Farm, off the A6 opposite Kibworth Shooting Ground.
On Sunday, July 5, his family are hosting the sponsored event to raise money for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance, which cared for Sam on the day of his accident.
Sam would be turning 21 on July 2, just a few days before the event.
The event will start at 10am and will continue into the evening with a barbecue and hog roast.
His older sister Charlotte said: “We have held a couple of fundraising events over the years, since Sam passed away.
“The whole family will be taking part in the walk on July 5.”
A Justgiving page, at www.justgiving.com/SamStanbridge, has been set up where walkers can make donations and get more information.
