A Harborough group which gives parents of young children an opportunity to see live music along with their children is hosting events in the town.

BabyGigs meets about once a month at Harborough Congregational Church.

The group is aimed at parents with young children.

Founder Eleanor Hodgkinson said: “BabyGigs concerts are designed specifically for babies, young children and their carers.

“Children are free to sing, dance and move about as they listen. Comfy rugs and cushions add to the informal atmosphere.

“Afterwards you can enjoy free refreshments and chat with the players.”

Two concerts have been lined up over the next two months. On Monday, September 21, from 10.30am Martha-Ann Brookes will be performing a trombone concert, and on Saturday, October 31, from 10.30am, Lisete Da Silva will be performing a recorder concert.

Tickets cost £8 for an adults and child, £2 for each additional child and £4 for each additional adult.
