Manager Kameron Hutchinson and his team embarked on a three-mile run to boost funds for two great causes – Sport Relief and SportsAid.

Following their fantastic efforts Kameron said: “We wanted to put our best foot forward – literally in this case – and play our part in raising money alongside people across the country over Sport Relief weekend.

“But we also felt it really important to contribute to SportsAid, which is another great cause and one we support here at Harrison Murray on an ongoing basis, so the funds will be split.

“The run was really good fun and we are delighted to have raised so much money. Many thanks to everyone who sponsored us.”

More than 300 people took part in the Harborough Sport Relief run, which began at Welland Park.

Half of all the money raised during Sport Relief – which is held every other year – is used in the UK.

The other half is used to help transform lives in some of the world’s poorest communities.
