Wistow Hall will play host to a glorious evening of summer music on Saturday, June 11, to help raise money for two county charities.
Music in the Park is a popular annual charity concert and is collecting money for the hospice charity Loros and Leicester Charity Link.
Revellers are being invited to bring along their own picnic and enjoy music from Double Yellers and the award-winning Hathern Brass Band.
The evening will finish with a huge fireworks display in front of Wistow Hall.
Organiser Diana Brooks said: “People can even take the hassle out of making a picnic by ordering a hamper from us in advance from the Wistow Café and collecting it at the concert on the night. Ring 0116 259 3756 for more details.”
Adult tickets cost £15 in advance (£20 on the night), tickets for young people aged 10 to 16 are £5 and under-10s are free.
There is also free parking.
The gates will open at 5.30pm, the concert starts at 7.30pm and the fireworks display is expected to commence at 10pm.
Tickets will be sold at Baileys at Wistow Rural Centre, Glebe Garden Centre in Countesthorpe and at all 24 LOROS Shops throughout Leicestershire and Rutland, including Oadby, Blaby, Market Harborough, Wigston, Leicester Market Place and Queens Road Bookshop.
To book tickets over the telephone, call 0116 2318431.
