VIDEO: 100 Harborough school pupils turned blue and white to celebrate Premiership win for Leicester City

It’s the one thing that parents dread at the end of the school day - a messy school uniform.

So spare a thought for the parents of these 100 pupils at Welland Park Academy in Market Harborough.

The pupils all volunteered to be covered in blue and white powder, to celebrate Leicester City football club’s stunning Premiership win.

“We used holi powder, which is rice flour dyed in different colours,” explained a school spokesperson.

“It’s often used by the Indian community.

“We celebrated after school on Friday, and about 100 pupils volunteered to be powdered in the end.

“Leicester City’s win has been a big thing at our school, with many pupils and staff being City fans.”
