A highly-rated bandoneon player is flying over from France to perform a seductive Valentine’s weekend concert in Harborough.
Classical music group The Harborough Collective will be joining forces with Eduardo Garcia (right) for the Soul of Tango concert.
Eduardo, who was born in Argentina and now lives in Paris, is one of the world’s leading exponents of tango music.
Catherine Leech, from the collective, said: “Eduardo is acclaimed for his unassuming virtuosity and soulful mastery of this rare and evocative instrument.
“He is an incredible musician and we’re very lucky to have him flying in from Paris to perform here in Harborough.
“This will be a very seductive and soulful concert and is the perfect way to celebrate the Valentine’s weekend.”
The concert is taking place at Market Harborough Congregational Church, in High Street, at 3pm on Sunday, February 15.
Town delicatessen Emerson & Wests will also be providing home-baked cakes for the audience to enjoy afterwards.
Tickets cost £11 or £9 for concessions, with accompanied children aged 18 and under getting in free.
