A rock band originally set up for staff and parents of a Harborough school is looking for new members.
Parental Guidance was formed almost three years ago by Robert Smyth School parent Astrid van Wilsem, who plays drums. “Due to other commitments and health reasons, we now have several vacancies,” she said.
Current members comprise drums, keyboard, bass and a vocalist.
“We are a mature band and our repertoire has included a wide variety of music from the Sixties to the present day.
“We are particularly looking for lead and rhythm guitarists, an additional vocalist and maybe someone who plays brass,” added Astrid.
The band, which rehearses at the Burnmill Road school, has played at various events including open mic nights, parties and school functions.
