Two men are set to appear in court after a car left the road and smashed into a ditch near Kibworth in a late-night crash.

The men were arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen after the single vehicle smash on Fleckney Road, Kibworth, at 3.45am on Sunday (February 7).

Three people were in the car and no one was injured, said Leicestershire Police.

Ali Jamma Ali, 30, of Toronto Close, Leicester, and Hirsi Abdulraziq Ahmed, 27, of Acton Lane, Acton, west London, are both due to appear at Leicester magistrates’ court on Monday April 12 following the accident.
