Police are urgently appealing for eye-witnesses after an attempted burglary in broad daylight at a house in Desborough.

The incident happened in Harrington Road, Desborough, police said.

The offenders opened and closed the front door of the house between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday August 15 - but they didn’t steal anything.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have CCTV footage of anyone acting suspiciously locally.
