A heartfelt appeal has been issued throughout Harborough after a much-loved pet dog was stolen from a boarding kennels in the district.

The small apricot Cockerpoo – he looks like a puppy but is three years old – was taken on Thursday night or Friday morning from the kennels at North Kilworth.

“He is a timid sensitive boy and will be terrified.

“His owner is devastated and is recovering from an operation,” said Enderby-based East Midlands Dog Rescue.

“Reward for return to follow.”

The dog rescue volunteers are now urging people to share the heartbreaking story on social media in a bid to track down the stolen pet.
