Driver of this van forced to walk home on a red-hot day after police seized their vehicle in the Harborough district
The van appeared to be in “disrepair” - both officers soon found out that the driver didn’t have insurance or a driving licence either
The driver of this van was forced to walk home on a red-hot day yesterday (Sunday) after they were pulled up by police in Harborough district.
They were stopped by Lutterworth-based officers because the vehicle appeared to be in “disrepair”.
And police quickly established that the driver didn’t have insurance or a driving licence either – and they are now facing a fine and penalty points.
“First stop check of the day for Lutterworth officers was this van that appears to be in disrepair,” said Harborough police.
“No insurance/driving licence was another issue!
“Points and a fine to follow, a walk home too.”
