This is the devastating mess after horses ran across the course at Market Harborough Golf Club - leaving the club with a huge repair bill

This is not the first time this has happened at the club, with similar incidents happening over the past couple of weeks.

Member Jamie Blyth took these photos of the damage today (Sunday), showing damage at the fourth, seventh and fourteenth greens.

He was one of the people helping out this morning, trying to get up to 50 horses off the course.

He added: "The Monday before Christmas there was a number of members there helping the greens team folk out on the worst affected areas and they will be doing it again tomorrow morning after this morning."
