Police have arrested two men in the Harborough district in connection with suspected jewellery thefts.

Officers from Leicestershire Police executed a warrant in Station Road, Thurnby, at about 1pm last Thursday.

The two men have now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Jewellery was subsequently recovered and police have now released an image of the items in the hope of reuniting the rightful owners with their property.

PC Suzie Brenton, who is the investigating officer, said: “We are askingmembers of the public to take a look at the image and if you believe any of these pieces of jewellery belong to you and can prove ownership, then please contact us.”

Anyone with information can contact PC 4616 Brenton by phoning the police’s 1010 number, follow the instructions to leave a message and when prompted key in her ID number 4616.
