A charity has appealed for more stock for its shops, after the Christmas rush.
Age UK Leicester Shire and Rutland, which has two shops in Market Harborough and one in Lutterworth, has 24 shops altogether which are “in desperate need of good quality goods” said the charity’s director Anthony Donovan.
“Charities including Age UK are under immense pressure because of funding cuts” said Mr Donovan.
“Our charity shops are a lifeline, but their success is based on the support of the general public.”
The charity’s Lutterworth shop is in Church Street.
There is also a Market Harborough shop in Adam and Eve Street, plus a specialist Book Shop in The Square.
