People can get 2015 off to a healthy start by attending a taster day at a Market Harborough natural health centre later this month.

Archway House, in Lubenham Hill, is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, January 31, for its Taste of Healthcare event, offering a selection of taster activities and a chance to talk with practitioners.

It runs from midday until 4pm.

There will also be fitness and beauty sessions by Bodyfitness and Sheeda’s Day Spa, who are both based at the site.

Attendance is free, but a voluntary contribution of £5 is suggested for the tasters, with proceeds going to district charity The Squires Effect.

Tasters will include spinal screenings, stress-buster massages, reiki, relaxation yoga, acupuncture and hand reflexology.

In addition, there will be a range of talks on health issues and centre practitioners will be on hand to discuss therapies and answer questions. Subjects will include allergies, intolerances, juicing for health, and back care.

There is no need to book, people can just turn up on the day.
