A HARBOROUGH estate agency and chartered surveyor has expanded its land and planning department with a new addition.
Joe Welch has joined the team of town planners and surveyors at the High Street branch of Andrew Granger and Co after having recently earned a qualification from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Fritz Graves, head of planning at Andrew Granger, said: “With the government continuing to push through planning reform it has led to an even greater requirement for landowners to review and seek professional advice on their land holdings.
“We are delighted that Joe has passed his assessment of professional competence with flying colours and will be able to add to our pool of planning expertise in this matter.”
Joe, who is from Gaulby, completed a degree in Property Development and Planning at Bristol University of the West of England and has previously worked for Whetstone-based Westleigh Developments.
He said: “The RICS is such a well respected organisation across the world and sets rigorous standards for our profession.
“I’m delighted to have passed the APC and to be joining such an established and experienced team at Andrew Granger and Co.”
Andrew Granger, which has three branches across Leicestershire, has a total of seven RICS qualified surveyors. It offers a range of services including surveying and planning as well as sales and letting of agricultural, commercial and residential property across the East Midlands and beyond.
