Harborough teenager Ellis Anderson fulfilled a long-held ambition and raised £836 for the Teenage Cancer Trust when she completed a tandem skydive to celebrate her 16th birthday.

Ellis chose the charity after being inspired by Stephen Sutton, who died from cancer last year.

Her parents Sally and Jason said: “We are extremely proud of Ellis and would like to thank everyone who supported her.”
