Beekeeping classes are creating a bit of a buzz

The Leicestershire and Rutland Beekeepers’ Association is running courses for anyone interested in becoming a beekeeper.

The five week courses begin on March 8 and cost £25, plus a membership fee for the association.

The classes are led by experienced beekeepers at a training site in Walton, near Lutterworth, and attendees will get to handle bees and learn all the skills needed to work with them safely and have hives of their own.
