A trio of competition winners were given copies of Harborough’s Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn’s book by edibLE16, Harborough’s community food hub.

edibLE16 launched the competition earlier this year when residents of all ages were invited to submit their recipe ideas for a chance to win a signed copy of Frances’ book. The prizes were presented at Quinn’s bookshop in High Street – where over 50 people attended a signing for her new book ‘Quintessential’.

Frances, who was also head judge, helped to decide the three winning entries which were submitted by Toby Ingram, Anna Halberda (pictured with Frances and Emma Poggi of edibLE16) and Nathan Dare.

“As someone who enjoys baking, it is great to see so many diverse recipe ideas coming from local people,” said Frances. “I admire the work edibLE16 is doing and the competition was a fun way of getting people to come up with inventive recipe ideas.”
