A charity auction held to support a pair’s formidable Lake District charity trek raised more than £2,100.
Postman Tim McNamara and friend Carrie Dewes, who both live in Willey, are attempting to scale 24 peaks in under 24 hours in June.
They will be raising money for the Forces Support and CDH UK charities.
To boost fundraising, a charity auction was held at The Sarah Mansfield pub in Willey on Monday night.
Tim said: “The evening raised £2,144 which was fabulous. Thank you to everybody.”
