Arsonists set fire to a bin shed beneath a block of flats in Harborough this week.
Harborough firefighters were called to Farndon Court in Farndon Road at 1.46am on Monday.
One resident told the Mail: “We’ve had a series of problems here, and this early-morning fire is just the latest.”
The resident added it was lucky the fire had been spotted by a resident.
Two fire appliances, both from the Harborough station, attended the scene.
Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel were used to extinguish the flames. The fire service said the fire was caused deliberately, and there was 90 per cent damage to the bin shed.
