Armed Forces Day in Market Harborough will be celebrated with a procession on Saturday and an outdoor event on Sunday.
The procession starts at the police station in Fairfield Road and marches down the High Street to The Square between 11am and 1pm.
The Armed Forces event on Welland Park between 10am and 2.30pm on Sunday, features stalls, military vehicles, displays and music from singer Peter Wayre, the Dolce sisters and Market Harborough CofE Academy.
Local Royal British Legion chair Rev John Morley said: “These events give people the chance to show their support for the Armed Forces of the past, present and future.”
Totty Teas in Lubenham will celebrating Armed Forces Day by offering free tea and cake to any active or ex-service personnel. The tea shop in Main Street, will be also donate half the day’s profits to Help for Heroes.
