A Desborough runner and hospice supporter is pushing himself to the limit by challenging himself to run seven marathons in seven days.
Matthew Peleszok, who is secretary of Desborough RAPID Running Club, will be journeying to Shropshire for the challenge to raise money for the Severn Hospice.
Matthew has already taken part in four marathons, a long distance triathlon and a number of other endurance challenges so far in 2015, raising almost £5,000.
He said: “I’m now upping the ante both physically and financially and I’m hoping to smash this by the end of the challenge.”
Matthew will be running 26.2 miles each day between October 31 and November 6 around the Ironbridge area of Shropshire as part of the November Nightmare organised by How Hard Can It Be events.
Matthew said he began fundraising after losing his parents and grandfather over the last two years. He added: “My short term pain is nothing compared to the suffering of terminally ill patients.”
