Pub-goers can enjoy a January sale at a Market Harborough pub this month.
The Sugar Loaf in High Street, Market Harborough, is reducing the prices on a range of its drinks and meals until Thursday, January 22.
It launched the offer on Monday.
These include seven of its regular drinks available between £1.85-£2.15 and a cup of filter coffee for 79p.
The drinks on offer in the sale are a pint of Carlsberg (£1.85), a glass of Coldwater Creek wine (£1.99 for a 175ml measure), Gordon’s Gin (£2.15 for a single measure and a mixer), Jameson whiskey (£2.15 for a single measure and a mixer), a pint of real ale (£1.99 from the selection of guest ales) and a pint of Stowford Press or Thatchers Gold cider (£1.99).
On the food front, four meals are available for £2.99.
These are Wiltshire cured ham, eggs and chips, chicken wrap, smoked salmon, cream cheese and rocket bagel, as well as a jacket potato. Soup of the day, with bloomer bread, will be available for £1.99.
Manager Adele McCann said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub, too.
“The range of drinks and meals on sale is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes and I believe that our January sale will prove popular with our customers. As always staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
The Wetherspoon-owned pub recently secured planning permission for a £300,000 improvment scheme.
It includes a new beer garden to be created at the back of the pub, where people will be able to sit round tables outside. It will include an outside area for smokers and a new upstairs staff room for pub workers.
The beer garden should be ready in the next few months.
