Last week it was named as one of the hidden gems of Market Harborough when the town was featured in The Sunday Times’ guide of the top 50 places to live in the UK.
And 20 years ago this week it was opening its doors for the first time.
The Eating House at Joules Yard was getting ready to welcome its first customers, serving “morning snacks, lunches and teas in a Victorian atmosphere”. Its music hall feel was to be enhanced by memorabilia and music nights. Pictured is manager Ian Joule.
