A thriving health and wellbeing salon in Market Harborough is helping hundreds of people across the area battle through the highly-challenging Covid pandemic and come out on top.

Charley Allsopp, who owns the Garden Retreat, and her team have been pulling out all the stops to support the local community during the national lockdowns.

They have been busy day in day out helping people with their mental health and general wellbeing while also getting behind small businesses.

Despite having to close due to Covid restrictions, Charley has been online every day talking to her clients and motivating them to stay positive and upbeat.

She has been hosting ‘Chat with Charley’ sessions on Instagram live to a growing following of over 4,000 many evenings.

Charley has been working to connect business owners in the health and wellbeing sector.

She is actively helping to promote them while also supporting those watching with their mindset and positivity in these unprecedented times.

“So far she has had a transformation coach, a motivational speaker who is also an amputee, a homeopath, psychotherapist and a life coach just to name a few,” said a Garden Retreat spokesman.

“The feedback we have had so far from the local community is incredible.

“Our followers are growing each day and we have had many messages about how this is helping people through such a difficult time.”

One follower messaged to say: “I've been taking a bit of a break from social media, but randomly sneaked on this morning for a scroll and came across your live with the yoga instructor - you two should rule the world!”

Another said: “I live on my own and watching these chats every night is very comforting and gets me through.

“I always look forward to seeing who you are talking to next and enjoy learning new things.”
