Help for people in Harborough with sight problems

Leading churches in Market Harborough are uniting with a local charity to help people with sight problems enrich their lives.

Churches Together in Harborough is getting together with the Torch Trust.

They are to stage two special workshops to help churches become more welcoming for people with impaired sight.

The churches and charity will stress the need to take initiatives to enable people with sight loss to get out and about and socialise.

The workshops will be held at 2.30pm on Monday January 27 at Harborough Baptist Church (Manor Walk entrance, off Coventry Road) and at 7pm on Thursday February 6 at St Dionysius Church.
