Harborough will stay in the highest tier of Covid restrictions over the Christmas and New Year period, it has just been announced.

The whole of Leicestershire will stay in tier three - as will Leicester.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock made the announcement at 11.45am today (Thursday) after a review of the tier system, following the initial decision two weeks ago.
