Market Harborough estate agent Fisher German is teaming up with Church Langton CE Primary School to get the fundraising drive off the ground.

The blueprint will support vital work already being carried out by the Friends of Church Langton School, the school’s PTA, to bring in money.

They are setting out to bankroll a new year 6 classroom for village pupils as the existing classroom reaches the end of its life.

Fisher German will donate to the school 10 per cent of their commission fee on any local property sales instructed by a relative or friend of a pupil.

William Green and Caroline Duncombe presented the company’s 'Building Communities' project to headteacher Steve Roddy.

He’s backed the initiative along with his support staff and the school’s PTA.

William Green, of Fisher German’s Market Harborough office, said: “We hope the ‘Building Communities’ scheme will have a real impact.

“We will be instrumental in raising some funds towards the new year 6 classroom.”

Mr Roddy said: “’We are delighted that Fisher German have approached the school to offer financial support through the ‘Building Communities’ initiative.

“It is great to have their support in our ongoing aim of providing the best environment for the pupils of our school.”
