Manager Ali Miah said: “We have been offering this discount to the NHS since the coronavirus lockdown began last month.

“We massively appreciate the amazing job that doctors, nurses and other staff are doing for all of us in this crisis.

“So please produce your NHS ID card when we deliver and you’ll get 30 per cent off the bill.”

He said they are gradually picking up more business throughout the Harborough area.

“More people are starting to realise that we are doing this takeaway service as word spreads.

“And as a result we are picking up speed,” said Ali, who said Babe Blooz was set up in 2001.

“We have a reduced staff and are managing to keep our distance from each other at work.
