Wendy’s walking on air as her shots fell Robins
AIRCARE comfortably got the better of Harborough Netball League rivals Lutterworth Robins as they ran out 49-15 victors.
Aircare came out the stronger of the two teams, leading at half-time by 23-8, spurred by the tireless work of Wendy Hayward at goal attack.
Lutterworth kept their heads up, led by attacker Lotte Harvey, but Aircare remained too strong overall.
JMs benefited from a strong start as they went on to beat Farndon Foods 34-28.
They led 21-11 at half-time, with excellent shooting from Emma Wilson. This did no deter Farndon, who produced some fine interceptions through Sarah Comber, but it was not enough to prevent a JMs triumph.
Skillspoint came out all guns blazing against Angel, with Kate Holman hardly missing a shot, and at half-time they were leading 33-8.
Karis Cox battled hard at wing defence for Angel but Skillspoint were the stronger team by far on the day, running out 63-13 winners.
In the other game, Snowfinders had youth on their side but it did not stop highly experienced RCL, with excellent shooting from Francesca Wilkinson, from cruising to a 73-25 win.
