A FORMER international heavyweight boxer is paying a visit to Lutterworth College this month.
Dermot Gascoyne, who won numerous titles as an amateur before becoming a professional fighter and signing with the country’s leading manager and promoter Frank Warren, will give a boxing demonstration at the college next Thursday, January 11.
He will also work with students during the morning.
The visit has been organised as part of Sky Sports Living for Sports scheme, for which Gascoyne is one of the National Athlete Mentors.
British and Commonwealth 200m sprint champion Leon Baptiste will also visit the college on February 7 as part of the same scheme.
