JUST half a rounder separated two first division sides as Bowden Blacks pipped Harborough 26.5-26 in a tense Market Harborough and District Ladies' League match.
Players’ players were Sophie Philips for Bowden Blacks and Justine Lawrence and Jade Wellicome for Market Harborough.

Green Arrows beat Kilworth in another close match, by 13.5-13. Players’ players were Carol Bootheway for Green Arrows and Amy Westaway and Carol Hancock for Kilworth.

In the second division Lyn’s Misfits lost to Naseby 15-6.5.

Players’ players were Charlotte Underwood of Naseby and Del Barnett and Linzi Selby for the opposition.

The Wharf overcame the Royalist Rebels 33.5-18.5.

Emily Green and Stacy Hall were the players’ players for the Wharf and Katie Pike led the way for the Royalist.
