THE Dingley racecourse season continues apace with the Fernie Point-to-Point on Sunday – if it can defy the downpours

This popular meeting has attracted 126 entries over a six-race card starting at 2pm.

Clerk of the course Charles Millington said earlier this week: “The course has taken the heavy rains very well, and all drainage is working well.

“At this stage we are confident that the meeting will go ahead if the weather forecast for the week is about right, with warmer temperatures and showers predicted.”
