London 2012 stars at castle for trials

Riders from 16 countries, including ten veterans from the London 2012 Olympic Games, will be at Rockingham Castle this weekend for the Brigstock International Horse Trials.

Two weeks on from making a successful initial foray into open company, the Stuart Morris-trained Duke Of Kentford produced another career-best effort to secure victory in the Welland Valley Feeds Fernie Four-Miler.

A Dingley return could see repeat for Gidam Gidam

Emotional scenes greeted last year’s victory of Gidam Gidam in the winner’s enclosure at Dingley after the Fernie Four-Miler Mixed Open and a repeat performance could be on the cards this Sunday when the action is due to get underway at 2pm.
