FLECKNEY Village CC celebrated the end of their season witha club presentation night.
The evening started with a presentation from the Leicestershire Senior League to recognise Fleckney 2nd XI’s promotion to division three and Stephen Smith’s league wicket-keeper of the year award.
Fleckney’s 1st XI player of the year was Tom Robson, who also won the Midweek XI player of the year.
Stephen Smith scooped the 2nd XI player of the year award and Michael Dunkley was Sunday XI player of the year.
Michael Grant won fielder of the year, Tim Brown took home young player of the year and Chris Walsh got a well earned clubman of the year prize. Darren Hutchings-Webber was the most improved player.
There were centurion awards for Tim Brown, Michael Dunkley and Phillip Webster. The unlucky winner of the Duck Cup was Dave Atherton.
