Derby day drama

A DRAMATIC county cricket league derby at Kibworth ended with Market Harborough edging the premier division clash by just five runs.

On a difficult day for batsmen following overnight rain, Harborough were put in and struggled to 148 all out, with Kevin Innes (43) top scoring.

Kibworth encountered similar problems in their reply despite a fine knock of 66 from opener Matt Craven. Only two other players made double figures as the hosts were dismissed for 143.

Innes kept up his heroics when he was handed the ball - he was the pick of the Harborough bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 21.
