HARBOROUGH Town chairman Tim Bale will step on to the hallowed turf of Wembley to receive a national award honouring his contribution to grass roots football.
He will be presented with his Workforce Winners Award by the FA prior to the FA Community Shield on August 10.

Bale said: “I am overwhelmed and completely taken aback by this accolade.

“It’s an award that I accept gladly on behalf of the club in recognition of its achievements over the past 34 years and of its goals for the future.”
