Later in the week the Medbourne youngsters proceeded to the county cup final after beating Market Bosworth by six wickets in the semis.

Page-Morris and Harry Lovell ended the Bosworth innings on 67 with a wicket each.
Medbourne, in reply, lost an early wicket but rallied through Dan Clark’s quick 23. They then slipped to 51 for 4 but a partnership between Ben Lovell and Toby Williams saw them home.
Medbourne under-15s entertained Wigston in a high-scoring affair with the visitors coming out winners by nine runs.
