A BENEFICE of churches including ones in Dunton Bassett, Frolesworth, Leire and Ashby Parva has welcomed a new rector.
The Rev Carol Brennand has already been ministering in the Upper Soar Benefice for a number of years, but was installed as rector at an official ceremony last month.
Archdeacon of Loughborough Paul Hackwood led the service, which was also attended by Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire Robert Constable-Maxwell.
The service concluded with a dedication of the church’s new kitchen and toilet facilities.
