'˜Yes' to new estates in three local villages

Planners have said 'yes' to 53 new village homes on small housing estates in three different Harborough villages.

They indicated their approval for 19 new homes on land south of London Road in Great Glen.

They also approved an outline planning application for 12 houses on land at Fishers Farm, Main Street, Foxton, on the site of old farm buildings.

And they gave the green light to outline proposals for 22 new homes at The Stables, South Kilworth Road, North Kilworth.

One Kilworth villager, Stuart Dainton, said the proposal, together with two others in the village, showed “unprecedented development” for a conservation village.
