Keen gardener William Pepper (13) has a good charity scheme involving pumpkins.

William grows the pumpkins on the family allotment in Little Bowden, and then sells them to make money for the RSPCA. This year he raised £60. His biggest pumpkin - weighing in at five-and-a-half stones, is on display at The Angel Hotel in Market Harborough.
