Warning after youngsters spotted on school roof

Police are investigating after youths climbed up onto the roof of a Market Harborough school.

The youths were spotted three times on the roof of St Joseph’s Academy on Coventry Road, between Friday, July 22 and Monday, July 25. More than 30 tiles have been damaged and dislodged.

Building work is currently taking place at the school, over the summer holidays.

“It’s a dangerous place to be and property is getting damaged” warned Pc Malc Roberts, based in Market Harborough.
