Members of the Harborough branch of the Rock Choir took part in a charity singathon which aimed to smash two world records.

The town group joined forces with about 200,000 other singers from across the UK last Wednesday for SignHealth’s Sign2Sing event in a bid to beat the records for most people singing simultaneously and most people signing in multiple locations on the same day. The previous record was set by Rock Choir members nationwide last year with 116,980 taking part, so the group has its fingers-crossed while awaiting official confirmation from Guinness. The Harborough group did its bit at the Baptist Church with about 35 people contributing.
