THE ANNUAL St Dionysius Church fete on Saturday was deemed a big success.

The church and nearby square around the Old Grammar School was buzzing with people, stalls were busy, the Harborough Training Band entertained and children enjoyed a bouncy castle, games, face-painting and Mr Mudge’s circus skills.

Fete co-ordinator, Simon Bentley, said: “It was a great occasion and I would like thank everyone who generously helped and supported the fete. Initial indications are we raised £2,500 which will be split between the church and The Cube youth club.”
