Shoppers in Harborough town centre would be forgiven for giving a double-take after spotting these people in 1940s garb along the river in St Mary’s Place.
Pictured, from left, are Helen Allen, concert promoter Dave Allen and Tony Sach, who donned period dress to help promote The Great 40s Revival concert at Harborough Leisure Centre on Saturday, June 7, to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The show will feature Glenn Miller’s nephew John Miller and his band.
All profits will be going to the Royal British Legion.
Tickets cost £19 via the website www.madhatter-concerts.co.uk or from the MH Music shop in St Mary’s Road.
