A gang of four masked men forced their way into a supermarket before making off with cigarettes.

The break-in happened just before midnight on Thursday, April 3, at the Co-op store in Braybrooke Road, Desborough.

The gang are all described as white men who were wearing balaclavas.

One was descrobed as about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium to heavy build, another 5ft 6ins with a slim to medium build, and who possibly carrying a sledgehammer, said police.

Another had a heavy build and was carrying what looked like a crowbar, and the fourth man was about 6ft with a slim to medium build and light or ginger hair.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
