Hardy staff from a town supermarket will be walking over broken glass to raise money for this year’s Sport Relief.
Jasmine Tansur, Darrren Potter and Melanie Wisher, from Sainsbury’s in Harborough, will be treading on the shards on Wednesday, March 19.
In 2012 the trio walked across fire for the cause.
Sainsbury’s is the main sponsor for Sport Relief and its charity merchandise for 2014, including the official T-shirt, have now gone on sale at the town store in St Mary’s Place.
The firm is urging people to sign up for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile at Welland Park in Harborough on Sunday, March 23, or to help by making a donation.
Sport Relief takes place every other year and is the sporting brother of Comic Relief. It helps people in the UK and abroad.
Staff at the Harborough branch will also be holding a sponsored bike ride at the front of the store, a beat-the-store-manager penalty shootout and showing their super-human dance moves in a flashmob to raise funds.
