A finalist of the popular television show The Voice returned to her home town last night to meet with her biggest fans.
Sally Barker is making Sir Tom Jones and indeed the nation weep, with her weekly hauntingly beautiful renditions of popular songs.
She returned to her home in Lutterworth last night where she got to see friends, members of her family and she even had time to have a glass of fizz.
Sally is appearing on the final of the show on Saturday night when she will go head to head with three other contestants in a bid to be The Voice of 2014.
If Sally is successful this week she will follow in an ever increasing number of women from the area who have gained celebrity and recognition on television programmes in the last year.
Former Gartree Prison Officer Sam Bailey won the X Factor in December of last year and has gone on to see her first single and her album top the charts. Frances Quinn won The Great British Bake Off and is currently in the process of bringing out a much anticipated book.
