Ullesthorpe Court Hotel and Golf Club scooped the Best Western Large Hotel of the Year Award for the third time in four years.

The venue was selected from the group of 280 Best Western independent hotels after achieving consistently high scores in consumer satisfaction, customer feedback, facilities ratings and overall quality standards.

The team’s efforts were recognised at a gala dinner held in Glasgow on February 7 at the end of the annual Best Western Members’ Conference – the largest annual gathering of independent hoteliers in the UK.

The Ullesthorpe hotel’s operations director Paul Burgess was cheered as he went on stage to collect the trophy.

He said: “We are extremely delighted to have won this award once again – what a fantastic achievement for the team.

“They are a great, hardworking group and this award is a testament to their unwavering efforts to provide our guests with an amazing stay.”

The hotel is set in 120 acres in what was originally a 17th century manor house.
